Two stunning properties have recently hit the market, allowing the public to marvel at the thought of purchasing. First, a $65 million dollar Bel Air estate, formerly owned by country singer Kenny Rogers, is now up for grabs. Kenny Rogers owned the beautiful estate in the '70s before passing it along to new owners who have done massive renovations. Their renovations expanded the home from 9,000 to 24,000 square feet. The home now has nine bedrooms and 14 bathrooms and comes equipped with a pool, hot tub, home theater, tennis court and ballroom built directly into the hillside.
On the other side of the country, Alex Birkenstock of Birkenstock shoes recently listed his Manhattan penthouse for $12.9 million. Birkenstock spent $5 million on renovating the place, creating a cozy, inviting atmosphere that includes exposed brick walls and unique light fixtures. The 3,000-square-foot penthouse is being sold fully furnished, with vintage-looking items as the focus of the decor.
Also, Dodgers co-owner Bobby Patton recently purchased a New Mexico cattle ranch, stretching out over a plot of land that is larger than the city of Chicago. These properties are truly amazing.
